E-MC

"e-MC" (sometimes stylized as E-MC or e-mcee) is an abbreviation of "electronic master of ceremonies."

The term was commonly used as a diss for a rapper who was popular or vocal online but not in "the real world," at a time when the Internet was a nascent technology and not the commodity or utility it is today.
