In the mid-1990s, OG Hiero Hoopla poster, Labtekwon claims that he approached Souls of Mischief at a show to battle in a freestyle rhyme style type style but was denied.
In 2024, Hoopla veteran Fish, who witnessed the original e-beef, stated, "Tajai was talking to some girls or something."

The act of denial drove Labtekwon to verbally attack Souls of Mischief and Hieroglyphics on the Hiero Hoopla BBS, inadvertently creating one of the very first e-beefs.
