In 2024, Labtekwon [https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2kdfnEO5l3/ posted a video] on the social media platform Instagram, accusing Yasiin Bey of "biting" another artist's song while Bey performed an homage to classic songs that inspired him. "BITING ain't Hip Hop culture [sic]," wrote Labtekwon.

In 2024, a GoFundMe was proposed on Hiero Hoopla to send Labtek on a paid trip to Tajai's Hotel Hibiscus Garden resort in Panamá, but no one actually created the charity effort.
